What transformative coaching is

Transformative coaching is a form of conversation that helps you see yourself and your situation more clearly.

The focus is not only on what you want to solve, change or achieve. We also examine the perspective you see the situation from, and the assumptions, values, feelings and patterns that influence your reactions and choices.

It may be about how you understand yourself in a particular situation, the expectations you are trying to live up to, what you are holding on to, or what you may be avoiding seeing.

When these patterns become clearer, more freedom can arise. Not necessarily because the situation changes immediately, but because you gain the ability to meet it with more calm, honesty and direction.

Transformative coaching helps you understand not only what you want to change, but also what in you is ready to change.

Individual coaching

Individual coaching is for you when you sense that something needs to shift, but the next step is not yet clear. It may be about leadership, career, responsibility, pressure or the way you meet yourself in change. In the conversations, we explore what is going on beneath the surface, so you can understand your patterns, reconnect with what matters and choose your next step with more clarity and calm.

Transformative coaching takes the whole person as its starting point. We work with your perspectives, patterns, values, choices and capacity to act. The aim is not quick standard solutions, but deeper clarity and more authentic action.

Teamcoaching

Teamcoaching creates a reflective space where the team can examine how it collaborates, communicates, takes responsibility and creates results together.

The focus is both on the team's shared direction and on the patterns, values, ground rules and conversations that shape collaboration in everyday work.

From autumn 2026, People-led will offer teamcoaching programmes for companies and teams as part of the advanced education in Teamcoaching & Leadership at MindJuice Academy. The programmes are built on the MindJuice Teamcoaching Model© and are adapted to the team's context, maturity and needs.

When teamcoaching may be relevant

Teamcoaching may be relevant when:

  • the team is new or undergoing change
  • the team wants better collaboration and communication
  • responsibility, roles or expectations are unclear
  • the team needs a stronger shared direction
  • the team is facing new goals or challenges
  • trust, psychological safety or team culture needs strengthening
  • important conversations are difficult to have or are repeated without sufficient resolution

How a programme can look

In autumn 2026, two possible teamcoaching programmes will be offered: a focused programme of 3 sessions and a more extended programme of 5 sessions.

A 3-session programme with focus on a Team Charter, vision and mission, and coaching on a concrete goal.

A 5-session programme with additional work on shared language and deeper reflection through, for example, The 4 Agreements, the Enneagram or The Five Dysfunctions of a Team.

The programme is agreed in close dialogue with the team leader. A short alignment is held before each session, and each session is evaluated afterwards, so the programme can be adapted to the team's needs.

All conversations and agreements are treated confidentially. The team must consist of at least 3 participants in addition to the team leader.

The aim is not to deliver a standard workshop, but to help the team see itself more clearly and strengthen the way it works together.

Why I created People-led

My name is Steen Andersen. I created People-led from a belief that sustainable change starts with people.

For me, coaching is about creating a space where people can hear themselves more clearly. Many answers are already within the person, but often become covered by pace, responsibility, expectations and complexity. People-led was created to make room for more clarity, honesty and direction in leadership, work and human development.

With more than 20 years of experience in technology, leadership, product development and organisational change, I have seen how often progress depends on something deeper than strategy, structure and technical decisions. It depends on clarity, trust, courage and the quality of the conversations we are willing to have. That experience gives me a grounded understanding of the reality many leaders and specialists work in.

Today, I combine transformative coaching, leadership coaching and teamcoaching with practical experience from complex environments. That means I understand the reality many leaders, specialists and teams work in, while still holding a confidential coaching space where your own insight and direction remain at the centre. Educated as a transformative coach at MindJuice Academy through an ICF Level 2 accredited coach education, and currently completing the Master's education in Teamcoaching & Leadership at MindJuice.
